This temple door in the Annapurna Ranges in Nepal is an image that virtually makes itself into a photo. There are lovely plays of colour such as the teal and red rectangles repeating themselves, the same colour tones in the flowers, etc. And then there are the quirky elements such as the askew mat and the strange white line and loss of colour that runs across the bottom third of the door and wall.
Taken on Asahi Pentax 6/7, 75mm lens. 100 ASA Ektachrome film. Aperture F.8.
