I have been deeply inspired by Eliot Porter, an American colour photographer who created wonderful large-format images in the deciduous forests of northeast America. He filled the frame with dense, relatively equally weighted information (detail) and played subtle blocks of colour off each other. So I have tried to do in this photo in Fiordland bush.
Taken on Ashai Pentax 6/7. 45mm lens. 100 ASA Ektachrome film. Aperture F22.
