Volcanic rocks and pumice form horizontal lines through the morning mist and turquoise geothermal water while the lichens on the rock echo the misty background colour. The composition works around an inverse triangle, which breaks all the horizontal lines, although most of all I just couldn't argue with the simple appeal of the foreground rock sitting in front of the turquoise lake.
